Mac Wellman is Distinguished Professor of Play Writing at Brooklyn College and the recipient of three Obies. He is the recipient of fellowships from the NEA, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the Foundation of Contemporary Arts. He is the author of the novel "Q's Q: An Arboreal Narrative, " the story collection "A Chronicle of the Madness of Small Worlds," and the collection of plays "The Difficulty of Crossing a Field: Nine New Plays." His poetry collections include "Miniature," "Strange Elegies," and "Left Glove."
