Mathias Kluge studierte an der Universität Augsburg Geschichte und Germanistik. Nach monatelanger Forschungsarbeit in Archiven und einem research fellowship an der University of Alberta in Edmonton (Kanada) wurde er 2013 in Augsburg promoviert. Dort lehrt er als Akademischer Rat Mittelalterliche Geschichte. Seine Dissertation wurde mit dem Universitätspreis des Bezirks Schwaben ausgezeichnet.

Mathias Kluge, PhD, studied history and German language and literature at the University of Augsburg.
