Completing the Oxford edition of Clare's collected poems, this volume presents the poems of the Northborough period of Clare's creativity. As with the other volumes, many of the poems have never before been published, and Clare's spelling, punctuation, grammar, and vocabulary have been preserved. This ongoing Clarendon edition of Clare's poetry ... will come to be seen as one of the greatest editions of the twentieth century.
