The author is a former elementary teacher and librarian. She has had a variety of other jobs which include working for the U.S. government and becoming a certified culinarian in both the savory and baking fields.She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, as well as visiting a few foreign countries. She likes to crochet, macrame, draw, cook, and bake. She has been married for over 50 years and has one son and two grandchildren. She lives in Kentucky.
