WWII hero, activist, musician, and rail porter Henderson Freeman can't outrun his father's voice in his head - until his father dies. Returning to the home he once fled to deliver a eulogy, Henderson comes to terms with his father, his church's compliance in racial oppression, and his own identity as a Black Canadian.
