This book explores the relationship between Christian theologian Paul Tillich and radical theologian Thomas J. J. Altizer and is the first book in a two-volume work that also connects these thinkers to the thought of feminist philosopher Mary Daly. Through a careful analysis of Tillich's ontology, we see emerge a new way of thinking about language, belief, and the human imagination.
