Shall we pray together? Our Father, our God, we thank you for granting us another chance to look into your Word and be guided on our path to heaven.
Lord, we want to pray that as many as sit around their radios and those that are hearing us now, let your Word mix with faith within them. Let them be particularly guided that the things that seek to strangulate your servants and your children in this present world and in this end time might not prevail over their lives. Thank you, Father, for hearing us, for we have prayed in Jesus' name.
Amen. I'd like to thank God for bringing you away again and for granting us the privilege of continuing to study the Word of God as guideposts for the believer in this end time. And by the grace of God, our theme text or our basic text for study has been the epistle of John, the first epistle of John unto the general Christians.
Now by last week, we had studied up to 1 John 2 and verse 14. And today, we are going to spend a little time looking at verse 15, 16 and 17. We may not be able to go beyond those three verses and so we are going to read and trust God to grant us insight in Jesus' name.
Now if you have your Bibles, please turn to 1 John chapter 2. Let's read verse 15, 16 and 17 together. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
