Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles
available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Oklahoma
State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is an independent state law
enforcement agency of the government of Oklahoma. The OSBI assists the
city police departments of the state and is the primary investigative
agency of the state government. OSBI works in conjunction with the
Oklahoma Department of Public Safety to enforce the criminal laws of the
state. The OSBI is governed by a seven-member commission, with each
member of the commission appointed by the Governor of Oklahoma. The
commission then appoints a director, who serves at the pleasure of the
commission, to serve at the chief executive officer of the OSBI. The
current director is A. DeWade Langley, who was appointed by the
commission in 1995.
