Kenneth M. Adams, Ph.D., CSAT-S, is a licensed psychologist since 1981, a faculty member with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and the clinical director and founder of Kenneth M. Adams and Associates in suburban Detroit and the popular Overcoming Enmeshment workshops. Dr. Adams is a national lecturer, workshop leader, and consultant in the areas of child abuse, dysfunctional family systems, and sex addiction. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and Silently Seduced, When He's Married to Mom, and A Light in the Dark as well as co-editor of Clinical Management of Sex Addiction-Revised. He was the co-recipient of the 2001 "Reader's Choice
Award" for his paper on "Shame Reduction and Affect Regulation." In 2011, Dr. Adams received the "Carnes Award" for "outstanding work in the field of sexual addiction and compulsivity and in 2016 received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from IITAP for his work with trauma and addiction. He is a certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), a CSAT supervisor, and a CSAT training facilitator, as well as an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner.

Leilani Sinclair, LMFT, CSAT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California and Michigan and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. She has a private practice in Los Angeles and also works as a Clinical Associate at Dr. Kenneth M. Adams & Associates, where she focuses on helping individuals, partners, couples, and loved ones navigate the impact of sex addiction. Much of Ms. Sinclair's work centers on supporting Adult Children of Sex Addicts (ACSAs). In collaboration with Dr. Adams, she co-developed the Disclosure, Impact, and Amends Protocol (DIAP), an ACSA-centered approach to structured parental-led repair and long-term healing. She speaks regularly on the treatment needs of ACSAs and has developed workshops and clinical programming to better support adult children and their families. She earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and her B.A. from UCLA. Her training includes family systems, psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and other trauma-informed approaches.
